BENTONVILLE, Arkansas — Walmart Stores U.S. has awarded the Leadership CORE curriculum design and development contract to organizational development company SVI. Under this contract, SVI will design and develop leadership training that will be delivered to approximately 1.2 million U.S. Walmart associates.
Training developed under the contract will be used by associates at multiple job levels within the organization and across all Walmart Stores U.S. business units. A variety of mediums will be used to deliver the training including instructor-led courses, self-paced activities, e-Learning (computer based training), and m-Learning (mobile learning).
Leadership CORE will serve as the foundation of Walmart Stores U.S.’s leadership training program. The program provides learning opportunities for all home office and field associates within Walmart Stores U.S. to develop key leadership skills required for success in their individual roles.
